so rhys has no experience at all?? he's had fkcing mad years of experience with cars. he knows well enough what it takes. he's been around cars for years, just like the japanese, it's the gto that failed. he woulda done good if he had a hachi or something. i know he would have done better with something besides a gto. maybe a mistubishi gto would suit him better than some *Censored**Censored**Censored* pontiac gto. that's one ugly car, that's my opinion.

BTW guys, Rhys didn't make the top 8. Where did you get your info? Rhys was in the top 16. Just had to correct you, no american made the top 8.

Ok sorry, Top 16. Still, top 16 is damn good for the first attempt. Where did I say Rhys had no skill HondaHater? Rhys did not fail, and neither did the GTO. I said placing like that was a real accomplishment for anyone on the first try. Yes Rhys has been around cars for years, and has alot of racing experience, but consider the situation. Completely new car he is not used to, and completely new type of event he is not used to. Doing this stuff on pavement is very very different to what Rhys is used to, but he still managed to make top 16 in the D1. I think he did a great job representing america, and I'm sure with more time tuning the car, and more practice in the car he will be placing alot higher. Keep in mind the other D1 drivers have been drifting on pavement for YEARS and they have had YEARS to tune their specific cars. Rhys got his car tuned THE DAY OF THE RACE and with minimal practice in the car he placed in the top 16. Don't hate, appreciate.

oh yea, I'm so sick of hearing about this, I think it's time everyone let this go, apperenly rhys thought the GTO would be a good drift car, it WAS his idea, read this interview that was posted not long ago, he didn't place well who cares rhys is sweet everyone knows that and no one here would say otherwise, the GTO was his Idea so just live with that, it's not like he was forced to drive it

I figured everything you just said goes without saying. but apparently not, when I said he didn't place well, I meant it. I'm sure any of us would he happy to be in the D1, but he is at that level and belongs there, we just didn't place as well as he could have, but that was his choice
