dear god, Nissan take note, make the new GTR look like the last 2 pics! I wonder what the final price will be, from what I've read, it's gonna cost as much as a NSX. Weren't R34's around $50 grand?

oh yeah, the latest BMI dvd was talking about concepts for the next GTR. They made it seem like it's going to turn out to be a heavy brute. I hope carbon fiber gets cheaper in 2007.

the first pic looks like a real concept snapped in arizona. And nissan has been designing new cars in America lately so thats not surprising, and seems to be heavily based on the G35. The second picture is my variation on that with horizontal headlights to look more like the GTRs of past. They say they will lighten it alot though. the Z cars weigh around 3300 lbs how is.

the image that djspeks put forward is a an R35 and it only skyline trade mark is thats it got the round stove plate tail lights the skylines have and gose away from it past leaving it L6 behind being fitted with a V8 (i wouldn't mind seeing a twin turbo V8 as a tuning pack) its on my GT concept game (Aust version, yeah i still could be wrong just my two cents), about someone saying nissan wants the skyline to be the best race i don't think so take the R34 GT-R every since the 350Z stared racing in its class the GT-R got the 350Z V6 and there's getting to be more Z's than GT-R's, plus thats the only place u'll find a RWD GT-R but thats nothing new
JGTC skylines like the GT500 Nismo GT-R (XANAVI, #23), back in 2002 they swapped the RB26 for the VQ30DETT vee-six,which the JGTC Z33 fairladys are using

and every road car to concept is starting to look like and egg

          focus
          toyota pod
          merc A-Class....
          list gose on

          these light r off a R32 if i confused u

the first picture shown was a concept, but it is being redisinged, also they cant decide to put 350z v6 in it or another engine.

I've given up on the Skyline a long time ago. Come 2007 they will be saying 1000hp and 2010... prove me wrong Nissan!

What about a Pulsar GTi-R - a car which some of us may be able to afford!?

yes we know. This is about R35 (as in GT-R0 not V35 (as in infinity).

its like they took every line from the r34 and just made it round and curvey. that is a brilliant design, to bad they wont use it.

                          I'm confused

Wait a sec, so if the R34 skyline is being sold and driven in Japan, and the G35 is called a Skyline in Japan, wouldn't that make the JDM G35/Skyline a R35 because it is the next generation Skyline? Or is the "Skyline" name simply a title for a fleet of sporty cars, each with different bodystyles and variations? On top of this, I've heard that both the 350Z and the G35 are based on the same platform, proven by the fact that the body styles are very similar. I could be wrong, but if not, then how come I keep hearing that the G35 is based on the Skyline platform? Is there some confusion between the G35 coupe and the sedan version? This is a mess.

                            G35 = V35 skyline, not R

                              correct.

                              OUR G35 = Japan's NON-GTR coupe and sedan, the Skyline 350GT.
