Heres mine, don;t normally drift and in fact I really suck at it, but it'd make for a hell of a drift car.

Are those wheels from an O.Z. Edition Lancer? I agree, they do look pretty nice on your car.

145lb ft. of torque isn't bad for a car that weighs that little, and I'm sure a lot of weight can be taken out. If CF pieces aren't available, I could request that my brother custom-fab a few hoods, he's going into the Carbon Fiber business. One more question: How much does the 3T-GTE cost without installation?

Yes, MKii's are great cars. i actually have one right now, but the previous owner had the JDM twin turbo motor in it and he messed it all up. and wiring harness was all messed up, and he sucked at swapping so there are wires coming out of the speaker ports, glove box, and all these different holes. But even with the normal motor, the possibilities for those cars are endless. As for the Celicas stats, stock they have 105 (Or 115, I've only heard these two figures throughout the years. But I'm leaning more towards the 105.
) horsies, and 145 ft. lbs. It weighs I think like 2700 lbs? Not bad, because they are cheap.

Oh, and also, my engine is to be swapped (or begin the process) by the end of this month. The 22RE is coming out for the 3T-GTE. And my car will then be a Celica GT-TR. Here's the engine.

Is there any reason for me not to just get the Celica Supra? Also, about how much power and torque does the motor make? As for parts, I think I would just buy two of them at once, drive one, and when something breaks I just replace it with the part from the other. I can get good deals on Toyotas, I have a connection.

They drift alright. Far from great stock. They don't come LSD equipped, but the stock 22RE provides enough torque to get going. Fortunately, the MKii's do have LSD and can fit the rear end of the Celicas, which is what I have on mine. Also, the Coronas have LSD and can fit the Celicas. The current steels
I have on it right now are definitely not the greatest for losing traction and getting sideways. But I do have rims, just not tires to go with them. If you do end up buying a Celica, just don't expect it to be easy finding after-market goodies for it. A lot of the stuff was discontinued. Toysport still makes somet stuff, but like I said..A lot of the good stuff was discontinued..

How do you like your M3? My dad has an E36 M3 and he likes it, but he wanted something with more power. He ordered an information packet from BMW regarding the European Delivery Program. He also got brochures for the X5, X3, and M3, but what he didn't know at the time was that the X5 and X3 are built at the Spartanburg plant, which leaves us with the M3. He was impressed with the specs and obviously the interior and overall quality are top notch(which he has yet to see in person). Is there anything we should know about it that I might not know(i.e. something that can be learned only with ownership)? The ride quality isn't a problem; our E36 has a very stiff ride but no one complains.Originally posted by cjm

Nice, another E30 drifter. My brother has a 325i, but it has body damage(hit a washing machine and flipped) plus he wants a lighter car, so he's getting a 318iS, then putting his chipped M20 in. He's not necessarily building a drift car, but that doesn't mean he won't engage in it every once in a while.

Here's my 1989 e30 bmw 325is during DD8. Didn't last too long though. . . A blown clutch and rear axle will do that to ya. . . But it's up and running again!

How does the Celica drift? I've thought about getting one and around here they're really cheap, but I've never heard from anyone who drifts it.
