Drifterd,
They are three seperate carbon fiber autometer pods, they make them in 2 1/4" and 3" I believe and run about 40 or 50 bucks.

I dunno, do you really need that much money to drift? Yeah people look at me weird when they drive by and spot me in the tire trash bin, but so what. hahaha!

as for drifting on the Gold Coast, the earliest team that i know was the original "038 Powerz" with Masaya Takahashi (yellow 32), Presley, Gibbsy(white sil80), Mick(white 180sx), Josh (86).Originally posted by BooZTT
It was a while ago. I formed Night Garage about 7 years ago and we had chapters in the US, Japan, & Australia. Many of the members have moved on to different things..myself included, but many still run the stickers here and in Japan. Haha, I think PG's takes the cake though in it's rosey pink hue! I prefer a weighted knob myself..those are too light and funny to drive with..but still I dig em'!
As for before that it would be before my time...

no the car came already converted to manual...
The ebrake (handbrake in australia) is simply a skyline handbrake assembly bolted to the floorpan. you just drill two holes in the floor, get some long bolts and solid mount it...
i cant take credit for any mechanical work on this car it came from Japan as is.
I only put on the wheels (it came with 15 inch) and drove it.
I plan to leave the motor stock as i have found (through previous experience) that modified motors are not reliable enough for low budget drifters such as myself.
Instead i will focus on aesthetics to impress the judges (i have just imported a BN Sports kit) and suspension work (such as solid mounting the rear cradle, adjustable suspension links and so on)
The motor is the 2 litre single turbo straight six known as the RB20det and produces 160 odd kilowatts (or 215hp in the old money)
It has a dual core radiator for cooling purposes and is quite underpowered but fortunately the inertia carried by the laurel helps maintain corner speed.
I cant wait to have her looking as good as she can!!!

did you do the manual swap yourself and did you do the ebrake conversion yourself? i hate how c33s come with the crappy ebrake
