thats good. what kit did u use? id rather do a swap. its just a lil more expensive but will last longer and be more reliable. -
My ex boss (Ed Dowell@brainstorm) and I built the turbo set up back in '01 before swaps were avaliable. Cost of a basic set like this in parts is around $900.
I'm looking into a swap but not a subaru motor. We've been looking at SR20 possibilities since tranny's on suby's break all the time and there isn't a huge amount avaliable. Since SR's are really popular right now and the the KA trannys and SR tranny are almost the same with the exception of the bell housing. SR seems like the way to go especially for drifting since trannys break all the time.Comment
