Ideally I would like to put headers, new stainless pipes, a high flow cat, and new pipes....
But, as of right now, me being broke and all I will stick to just a new muffler...
Trust me, if I had money I would redo the ENTIRE exhaust, not just a muffler

    *Damn, I hate being broke*
You get what you pay for. I'm not saying go out and get a whole exhaust but whatever piece you get now make sure it is quality... A Greddy part is a Greddy part and an Autozone part is an Autozone part. Save up and get quality.

I'm not saying that Greddy is bad, it's just that my family has alwyas used cherry bombs. They are in the 66 GTO, they are on the other 66 Gto, they were on rhe Ranchero, and they were even on my Mazda.
I've tried the flowmaster glasspakcs, and well, they dissapointed me... For something that cost over twice as much, the performance wasn't the same and the sound wasn't the same either...

Let's just call it my sutbbornness and brand loyalty....

One of these days I will try a Greddy, or a Tanabe or something, but for now it is all about saving cash so I can buy another car....

can you buy just the muffler of the GReddy EVO2? My buddy and I are learning how to weald so we were going to make a one off stainless steel exaust system, but i like the EVO2 muffler a lot because of how quiet it is (compared to its performance and other mufflers) and how it looks damn sexy at that.

          Actually, you don't.

Exhaust is horribly, horribly over priced pretty much no matter what it is.
