    revival of trueno

can someone discuss more about the revival of trueno? is it really just a rumor? because it's kinda rational for Toyota to think that they dont need to revive it to fulfill the production line. But perhaps they will just revive it for the fans of trueno, like what Nissan did on R-34. Oh and can someone give me any links about this trueno revival rumors?

just read best car mag if you can read jap or you can read the "concept" section in the november issue (pg 25 bottem of page) it's going to be a JDM revival fest!

and also what do you think of a toyota tundra or a tacoma it's like a muscle car so it would be good for drifting, but touge?

That's pretty cool bro. I would agree with Soldat saying that you shouldn't be hard on your daily driver. I would pick up the toyota and just stick to racing in that, but only on courses. If you street race anything you're just asking for way more trouble than it's worth. Our governor in WA is going to make it really hard on us here real soon.

Also, be sure to check up on the vehicle code before you modify anything on your car here. You do know it's illegal to have an exhaust on your car that increases it's noise level over the factory exhaust right?

WA will be as bad as california soon...

You can can always remove the catalyst converter and reinstall it before an emission testing. I don't really belive that an open exhaust is illigal.

It's a shame that I am not into front engined sports cars anymore. I was even looking at a WRX(I went through an AWD phase) before I tested one.

But that body work looks very attractive.

it seems that the covered up spy shot version is going to be closer to the actual production model. It's pretty different than the concept designs though. but oh well. I'm just sad they won't produce it as a toyota in the states. my guess on this however is merely for value of the vehicle. as subaru vehicles are generally more expensive than toyota's. So to start at a higher value and keep it there, they give it a badge with greater value.
hence we get the subaru model instead of toyota.

I think if it was up to Toyota to sell the STi, they would charge fifty grands instead of thirty grands.

                    Edit:Nevermind Toyota offered the MR-S at $23,098
