dry asphalt - really hard on tires
wet asphalt - a little better
gravel - better
snow - easy on tires.

drifting on wet asphalt will be better for your tires than dry, but you'll still wear them out eventually.

Ok here's what I do, I go to this empty parking lot behind a store. They really have good assphult. You could fish tail like at 10mph! Yes it's dat good...On a rainy day, I bring a bucket of soapy water and some detergent soap. I spill the water as much as everywhere and spriknle the left over spots and I let the fun begin.

I know it does, but my dad always asks me why we run out of detergent so fast. I tell him my clothse were really dirty.

If your drifting in the wet wouldn't help you refine your skills? Its harder right?

O ya...It's harder. Snow is probably the best training you can get. A 20mph drift in the snow would = to a 40-50mph drift on dry pavement, assuming on a track.

Do most of you experienced drifters use used tires? If not how much do u spend on tires?

Some of us are hardcore at using tires, and some of us are not. The hardcore people buy a new set every month. 2-400 dollars a set. Used tires...Meh, I guess you can do that. Probably some people do it, depends how used it is. Any size tire would be good, but don't drift no larger than 17 in rims...
