My friend's drivin' a FC with over 270,000 on the odometer and his runs great. Never rebuilt it, just kept up with the oil changes and regular tune-ups. Everyone says rotories are maitenance whores. I disagree.

i ono?
i was drifting today with my friends that all have 240's, S13 and 180 n S14, i would go with S14 its so easy to drift, but my friends with S13 n 180 gonna sell their cars because SOHC is to slow, but DOHC is alright but understeer is a big problem, EBAKE is for sure needed wen learing, but all my friends want FC even would sell a S14 for FC, i ono i love my rotary motor, im over the toe steering angle to, i could controll it like nothing, im getting pretty good but yeah i ono, i live in southern san diego, lets go drift? Now dont take this the wrong way, SeanFC, but please, for the love of god, use punctuation and capitals. Your posts are very compitent (sp?) and I want to read them, but it is very difficult with the poor punctuation and capitalization (or lack thereof).Last edited by UberSpeed; 03-26-2005, 08:39 PM.

Its a lot more faster unless the motor is swaped to SR20 on the 240 but if u get 3rd gen motor turbo it will kill the 240 with SR. Its not that much money either, swap the motor urself, i helped swap an SR20DET motor but it needs a lot of tuning n swaping a rotary motor is a lot easier than SR. FC3S is hella good at drifting and is good for low speed drifts wen u get good. But gotta learn without the Ebrake or get better brakes and ebrake if u want, i faint and clutch kick at the same time, it does the trick, most ppl r *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* to get the FC sideways because u go a lot faster than a 240 to lose traction wen ur learning. GO FASTER and try it in an open parking lot with a cones set up as turns.
you are WRONG! swapping a 13B-REW ("3rd gen motor") is not by any means easy, definitely not easier than SR20. especially considering the sr20 was designed to go into s13's and s14's. the 13B-REW was never designed to go into an FC. nobody makes motormounts for it, so unless you wanna custom fabricate some, you can forget about it. get a clue, read this

guestion for ya, what would is the point in swapping to the REW? If this car is for drifting i don't see why you'd need the REW, the 13bt can give you all the power you need.Last edited by theflatlander; 04-09-2005, 06:26 PM.
