You remember when finding a motor swap was more like an Indiana Jones movie, then a quick ebay search.

Your car is now 3 different colors of black (not counting Carbon Fiber), and the only working lights in the frontend are your headlights.

when you try an drift anything from a rusty el camino with foot e brake to a FF ford escort wagon.

when you call your 86 accord a hachi roku (well it is )

when you cant wait to register your "hachi" so you can drive it up and down highway 18.

when you notice every real hachi and 240 aorund you for a 2 mile radius.

when you try to drift on the slick tracks at speedzone

when you flip out when you meet mark from slide squad

You know your a drifter when...

-- You park out of the way to walk by an obscure RWD luxury car from the late 80s or early 90s just because in japan they had a turbo version and are used to drift.

-- Ancient Datsuns and Toyotas are suddenly cool, unless of course it was after that model went to front wheel drive. Then you dont like them.

--You think it would be cool to drive cross country in a old Datsun 510 with totally stripped interior save 2 seats, no air conditioning or power steering, and a manual transmission, in the summer.
