the cops are out to get you mang. one decided that i wasnt wearing my seatbelt (even though i was) and so since i didnt have my license he towed my car. now i have to pay $500 to get it out today. i hate chino police. that pd especially is out to get people. and im not just saying that. and no i wasnt doing anything illegal in my car. just because it was lowered and tinted and an import he pulled me over. its called culture profiling.

cops are cool for the most part...one time I was chillin in japan town cuz of this cherry blossom festival, I was at this table all by myself and the other tables wer full, so these cops ask if they can sit with me...then it was cool cuz we talked about cars n stuff...one guy used to livee in japan and he keeps a picture of his skyline in his pocket...hahaha...he has 2 kids and he didn't even have a picture of them...but yeah, other cops can be real jerks...sometimes they get on you for little things...I fish tailed one time out of a corner but didn't mean to and I got a warning...oh well, I guess that wasn't so bad..but yeah...lots of the cops here have all the love for domestics and none of the love for imports...

I dunno the few encounters with the retarded popos in my cousins eclipse they seem to be cool. Though when I was comin home from Vegas last weekend there were 3 cars that had single drivers in the carpool lane and he pulled up right next to them and didn't pull em over. It's thinks like that why I hate the cops.

As most of you know im a Cop. What Ghost of D. said is true, Most cops are just as interested in cars as you are, But theyre also interested in keeping the roads safe. Yknow ChrisfromDA909, this is probably what the officer saw. A person driving a lowered car with window tint, (who probably WASNT wearing his seat belt) and he's driving around with no license. This isnt suspicious? Think for a second.

Or better yet look at it this way, theres someone just like you driving around with no license , but he slams into your car because he doesnt know how to drive. He has no license. Then its.... WTF? where were the police? why didnt they get this guy off the road?

Heres another one for people to think about, you see an officer doing 80 on the highway.... and everyone has said somthing like this. "Yeh look at him speeding, why doesnt he get a ticket? Those hypocrite mother *Freakers*"
Ever stop to think why he may be driving like that? We dont always put on lights and sirens when we have a call. Its called situational assesment. I dont want to do 120 mph to go to a simple fender bender, but i do want to get there to clear the road.

You want to know why cops are stern on traffic stops? 90% of officers killed in the line of duty are on traffic stops. So next time your acting up and get pulled over, think about that. Wouldnt you be cautious?

So do me a favor, think about what you say before you wanna just spout off, cops are Jerks, a$$holes , etc....

Has no tires left is a very cool guy, and a very good cop. He know what he is talking about. We all like to complain about the police, and admittedly there are some real grivences out there. But police are humans too. They make mistakes ect..


Its alot like how people get mad the moderators for enforcing the rules!

I have met cops who are *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*, and i have met cops who are very friendly. More proof that cops are just people like us. We like to see them as "the man" or the enemy, because we do alot of stuff thats not exactly legal. But we really should be alittle more respectful and not group them all together as a bunch of corrupt horrible people. Its not the case. Sterotypes arent cool.

A cop stole my friends sweat shirt and my other friends skateboard. This girl cop used to kick me and my friend out of this skatespot back when we skated and I out argued her once and she wouldnt admit it. Me and my friend got cornered in an alley by a crazy dominoes guy in a big red ghey 3000 gt cuz "we were the dot kids" that kept calling pizzas to teh wrong house even tho we werent. My dad finally showed up and like threatened to run them over and then the cops came and they were complete assholes to us. We didnt do anything wrong at all, they kept saying "bullsh!t" and all these other retarded things. They *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*ing searched us, and we werent even doing anything wrong. Ive met a couple cool cops but the majority of them are retards that overuse thier power.

I've had good and bad experiences w/ cops mostly good ones, you guys are right as long as you tell them the truth and don't try to hide something they will be friendly.... my friend is a sheriff in camarillo but yeah I know a few bad ones. Mostly traffic cops the ones on the bikes... man those guys must hate life or something.

My latest experience w/ a traffic cop....
dropping off my roommate at LAX during thanksgiving. I notice LAPD bike cops.... not the LAX cops but LAPD.... I know I'm gonna get pulled over cuz LAX there's no where to go but in a circle. So I'm following this bike cop he pulls over waits for me then pulls me over for no front plate.... grrrr *sigh* nothing I can do. Oh well atleast he didn't pop my hood and see my SR hehehe

You know what, from what I have experienced with police, I believe they are all a**holes. I have gotten pulled for my exhaust being to loud, running a redlight when I really had my 2 front tires alittle over the white strip, and they consider that running a red light here in Florida. I have also been pulled over because I matched the description of a bank robber who has the same cars as I do, But you know how many Puerto Ricans drive old Toyotas in FLorida? Common. I remember when I used to be in a car club, and one night we had to pay the leader of the club money ahead of time so we can all go to the nopi nats in 2000, and I was the first one to show up, I shook his hand, gave him money for the hotel we all were staying at and the fee to enter my cars. Same went for everybody else, and not a sec later after 3 more people showed up and did the same, awhole bunch of cops wearing masks and pullings guns on us because they thought we were drug dealers, and about to buy more drugs or something. They searched eveybodies cars, and searched everybody also and found nothin at all. We were just there to hang out and have a regular meeting like had beendoing for years. Now do you think thats right? Hell naw. Cops are pulling people over and harrassing them because they know they won't get in trouble for doing it. A majority of cops are kids who got picked on in school and were made fun of, and thats why they decided to become a cop, so they can harrass people like they got harrassed in school. Sorry about the long post, but I hate cops to the fullest.

exactly what i said about half a year ago in this forum..said out of anger...

on another note, ive met some kick as$ cops like most of us have, and they're cool as hell to hang around...i find that older cops are more strict than the younger, cuz i have a few po friends on base here and they're cool as hell...thats why all stereotypes are stupid

well theres no way in hell you can just look at someone passing by and instantly know he doesnt have a license. i dont drive like a stupid *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*. i dont take every corner at 35 mph. i dont redline every gear. most of the time (which is when there are others around me). he had no reason to pull me over other than i was a kidd in a lowered import with tinted windows. i had my seatbelt on. i KNOW it. he just made up some bullsht excuse to pull me over where it would be my word against his and theres no way i would win. i know for a fact that had i been driving a stock height car without tinted windows i wouldnt have been stopped.

last summer when i'd be practicing in my drift parking lot i've had cops just come out there and watch on more than one occasion never been hassled until i did a little street drifting at 2 in the morning but the cop just gave me a warning and said he was impressed. so yah cops can be cool but they're rare breed.
