People like me wreck on dry roads simply beceause I am a jackass. I do 100+ in a 35 mph zone. My van shakes violently and it wouldnt surprise me if if just fell apart sometime :-P. I also do it with one hand, recording my spedometer/tach with the other. 2-lane road, swerving around cars. I live for this stuff .

But eh, faulty equipment could be the case. My sister managed to get her rotor inside her tire. How? I'm not sure. But wow was that funny :-P.
You are exactly the kind of person that everyone here hates. You are a duplicate of that Dateline meat-jerker Greg what's-his-name. You regard commuters and fellow road-goers as pile-ons in your own race-track. You get us in trouble for playing around in empty parking lots. You're the person who's going to get everyone screwed. I hope you crash. Have a nice day.

Yes yes, I agree with you that I am a jackass. I know I am. I hope to grow out of it, I know I will someday. I havent had my license for too long, had my permit for like, a year and a half, so really, I'm just having fun now because I can. I'm quite sure that soon enough I'll drive more humane. But, it will probably take an accident to really set me into reality.

Be more responsible, DJ. The neighborhood street is not YOUR road, don't be selfish to other drivers and people. What if you or a family member were just strolling around your neighborhood, and a crazy person runs into him? Don't think this might not happen, because you're "oh so good at driving", because you might as well run into something or someone tomorrow, endangering both your life and someone else's.

No, I'm not good at driving. I'm not one of those teens that thinks I'm invincible. I know I can wreck and get hurt pretty bad. I try my best not to endanger anyone but myself. The 35mph road I speak of is a road where the understood speed limit is 65. I dont drive agressive when there are lots of other cars around. But I'm not afraid to pass anyone at 100.

I always have headlights on and use my blinkers when I change lanes too .

You can't just go on assuming you'll grow out of it and hoping that you do. You take action. Stop being an *Censored**Censored**Censored*. Like the above poster said, what if some crazy throttle smashing *Censored**Censored**Censored* ran over your mom? What if they smashed into your house? What if they took out your car? What happens when it comes time to pay the jailtime and 100,000 bucks for smashing your car into someones window, paralyzing their son while hes sleeping peacefully in his bed? Think about that.

Yeesh, all the hatred. Perhaps you guys get the wrong impression of me.

I dont go 100 everywhere I go. Its nowhere near houses. Any zones where pedestrians can come into I dont speed through. Major highways and such are where I go fast.

Again, I try not to endanger anyone buy myself, I should be the only one responsible for my actions. If I get into a wreck it will most likely be a single-car wreck. I'll probably take a turn too fast and hit a barrier or guard rail.

But yeah, I appreciate your concern. I suppose I've seen what I can do when I drive, so maybe now is the time to take it easier.

There's no limits to what an inebriated teenager can do with his moms van.

Well there are alot of things that can happin and well never know how or why but we only get to see the aftermath so i cant really say that the person that crash on a dry street is a bad driver.
Maybe a kid jumped out on the street and the guy tryed to avoid hittin him so he swerved and crashed. We all had r wipeouts trying to drift maybe this was just a bad day right?

dj whiplash, what impression are we to get when you say that you drive like an insane person but then your excuse is that it is "fun?" What kind of sorry person are you that you cannot even control yourself? Hand your keys to your parents until you can get a grip. You are out of control and are practically blind to the fact.

I wouldnt say that I'm not aware of it. I'm quite aware of it. And I toned it down some... Went to the mall tonight, kept with the flow of traffic, never went more than 5 over, so be proud :-P.

Hardly. But, you guys have shown me how bad it is and how bad I am. How is ti that I am attempting to improve, and yet I still get belittled?

Because the people that are supposed to get belittled are people that are proud of not going above the speed limit.

Um.... so, you should be harassed for being proud of being a safe driver? Yet, you should be harassed for not being a safe driver? I dont get you :/.
