Here in Australia a CA18DET front cut is an affordable $1800au or so compared to a SR20DET cut that can cost up to $4000au!! Depending of year of SR20det (GTiR Pulsar being the most expensive but has apparently shim under buckets and not only can rev but makes impressive power out of the box).

The CA18det seems to have a much taller intake manifold then the SR and that can interfere with your bonnet (One sprinter owner found out about that).

As for the turbos, CA has a T25, good for 240HP? SR S13 has T25G good for 280? SR S14 has T28 good for 320-340, SR S15 has BB GT28, good for 360hp?

CA20 cranks are too weak for boost, like trying to use 7A crank in 4AGZE, only good for 7psi or so reliably.

We have never seen a KA motor in Australia or at an importers and know bugger all about them.

From what I have seen, 150kw at wheels from CA18det is a simple task - mainly turbo/dump pipe/exhaust/intercooler
