Hey Ernie, thanks for coming to Portland watching you really helped me a lot. I got to talk to you and ask you a few questions but you looked busy so I left you alone but now I wish I would of asked you more questions. I've been drifting for about 2 months and I drive an all stock 240 thats auto but I'm doing a manual swap soon(no money after the drift event), I've usually practice about 3 or 4 times a week and I've been practicing drifting around a building like a 90 degree angle, but recently I've had a run in with the law and can't come back to that place, so I was wondering since doing the 90 degree drifts are starting to get easier and I don't spin out as much, what would you recomand to move onto? and what kind of practice should I be doing for a newbie like me? Thanks agian D Day in Oregon was a lot of fun for me and I learned a lot.

They show some excellent gymkana drift practice stuff. Change it up and make sure you check out as many drifter's styles as possible and try to build your own style. I hope this helps...see you soon, ErnieErnie Fixmer

Thanks for your help I really appreciate it. We get 0 legal practice here, the event you made it to was the first one ever, hopefully more to come. One of my friends brothers has that video so I will barrow it and watch it. I've tried talking to some people at wharehouses but non of them actually let me use any of their places, hopefully things will start looking up soon. Thanks agian.

thanks
1 - Ernie was having car problems at FD in NJ, and wasn't able to be competitive due to it. Things should be sorted out much better for round 2.
2 - The guy in charge of Big X is named Kenta and has been over here for the past 2 months working on some things. He is heading back to Japan in a week to run the BigX event over there, then will be back over here to try and work out a deal with some sponsors to bring it over to the US. It's been a long, slow, uphill battle for him, just as it was to bring D1 over here. The only difference is that D1 is run by a much larger corporation with a lot more money and connections to use in bringing it over here, while Big X is mainly run by 1 privateer on a limited budget.
If you know of any larger corporations who might be interested in getting Big X over here, let me know and I can pass the information along to Kenta.

So, if you have nothing going on gimme a call at home. The boys were thinking about stopping up in your neck of the woods....

I spoke with ernie recently and he said that he hadn't visited the site in awhile, he's been working on his car and his website (www.efmadness.com) which will be up shortly.
he plans to answer all questions on his site once it's up.
