Oh I think I drift alot more when I have a chick in my car, when there is another drift spec car next to me, or my favorite when there is a Honda next to me. I think it’s even better when they have their chick in the car and you can throw some rocks and rubber in his face!!! hahahahahahaha!!!! Then let off an incredibly long, incredibly loud blow off right in his ear.
    wow. you're so cool.

^tires cost me nothing or next to nothing. Having friends who work at a tire shop has a lot of perks

I go through multiple used tire bins every night of my life. The trick to finding good used tires is to find the shops with good salesmen. If you see 1 bad tire and 3 good ones of the same brand/size, then those are good salesmen.

Yup one time I found three almost brand new looking tires and I thought "why the hell did they get rid of these?" then I found another one that was ever so slightly worn down on the inside. SCORE NEW TIRES! haha

yeah go to a sears auto center late at night after they close and take some from the pile of used tires. works for me and another cost saving measure mount your own tires. Buy a couple of tire irons and learn how to do it by hand. And remeber the hardest thing about it is breaking the beads on the tires and the eisiest way to do it is drive with no air in them.It is kinda a lost art since most people are to lazy to do it themselves.

I tend to drift on average every other day. not for any certain length of time. maybe 15-20 mins one day a few hours the next when ever i get in the mood and have the time. yesterday tried choku-dori on a straight going down to my house ( i was trying to break the bead on a tire.... the F'er wouldnt come off) I relized how hard it is with an open diff.

I save my tires another way. I don't drift on pavement. I stay almost excusively to gravel and the snow and ice in the winter. A single set of tires, even cheapies will last a full year, even drifting a little daily. I don't stay on gravel just because of tires though, it's been more of an issue with stock, very underpowered, usually highly understeering cars that are far from set up for asphalt use. I figure, until I actually get one setup well enough for street use, other road types will be my play areas. Still, you can't beat the cost savings on tires and other parts from the lower stress levels on the car.

breaking bead on tires? I just jump up and down on them like a crazed lunatic, that breaks them just fine.

...don't do this to nice rims.

hint: two long prybars (harbor freight baby) work better than tire irons
