This was the high performance edition of the RX7 for those production years. "Shell", if you didn't already know, just refers to car with no motor. I'm pretty sure you already know that, but I explained it for anyone that may not be "car literate".

I hope to be debuting my own newly built S5 TII at DD24, and maybe at DDC4 as well. It's my first time drifting after a very long hiatus. My FD gave up, so onto a new vehicle!

    Good luck and Happy Motoring!
thanks for the break down Crimson! what do you drive?!

Work Equips 17 x 8 front 225 tires 17 x 9 rear 245 (i like the traction feel) but for my next set of tires i might go softer(215 front and 225 in rear). for my stock ones, they are 16 x 7s which is very good for stock all around and i used 215s. my next tires will be either trying out the dunlop direzzas or the bridgestone re50s. i would use azenis but its rainy season rite now, they are shitty in the rain.

I tell ya, you learn throttle control real quick whilst sliding around on snow. Gives a new meaning to oversteer. I believe the sensation is somewhat similar to the characteristics of 400+ hp cars. Although I've never driven something with that kind of power so I really don't know.

omg! i cant even imagine drifting a 400 hp car! i can barely handle my 200+ hp car. Heehee. did you grow up in the snow? did you learn to drift in the snow?!!

Yup, I live in Alberta. Craziest weather ever, a week or two ago the snow was melting and was almost gone. Then it started snowing again and it's been going at it for 2 days straight now. And it's the end of March!

Snow's great for practice. The speeds are lower (obviously) but the car is more prone to spin outs. Still, it's quite fun being able to hold a massive drift around a loooooooong high speed sweeper in an underpowered car. Only instead of clouds of smoke you get clouds of snow
