I spoke with Tyson yesterday and he sounded good.

He told me if he's going to be there or not at Houston but I won't ruin the surprise he might not want me to say which event he's going to be present at.

I think its pretty rad to see all kinds of different people taking an interest in this great sport. It is after all a sport.......you start off green, learn, practice, and hopefully get better.....everbody deserves a chance.

I say that if he has the skill to be a competitive Formula D driver, then its ok for him to do it. Otherwise, its kind of pointless.....

Um... NO.

It's not pointless to drift even if you are an amateur. It's something fun to do. Not all drivers who attend drift days are aspiring formula D drivers. I'm sure some of them are but I just thought the point of Drift Days was to have a legal sanction to learn to drift. I'm sure Tyson Beckford realized how fun drifting can be and he has the resources to do it.. so why not?

Oh and the whole Tyson Beckford and drifting thing, frankly i really don't care because he's just a model.. But if someone like Brad pitt got into drifting.. that would be insane.
