Forsberg vs. Papadakis?

i didnt see the video or the event, but all i know is who the hell cares. Chris drove well from what i understand, so did papadragraces, it was obviously close enough that the judges had a hard time deciding the winner. Im a friend of Chris also but i in no way think that the judges were trying to be unfair in their decision, or give steph an advantage. Chris has driven well all season, a few questionable judgment calls by the judges away from a podium from what i have seen, but drifting is a JUDGED motorsport, its not like f1 or rally or a time/lap based system that is based on hard numbers. The fact that it is a judged sport makes this kind of thing inevitable, but i am sure that the judges are doing the best they can to make the events as fair as possible. The other fact is that in all judged sports there will always be disagreement, whether it is among the judges themselves, or between the judges descision and what the fans thought should have been thier descision. I dont see Chris posting on this thread complaining that he got ripped off and shouldve won. Thats not what this is supposed to be about. Everyone should settle down about this judging nonsense before we turn drifting into figure skating.

I'll take a pros word for it but from that clip Chris rocked.

From the video its almost the same view in the pit. When you are up at the Judges stand its totally different and can see more stuff that us pit guys can't see.

Its very hard to judge from that video.

the simple fact that steph STAYED with chris, and even managed to pull a little bit away, by doing a higher speed drift as opposed to show drift shows that hell, maybe step deserves that one??? i mean come on chris *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*ing destroys everyone he goes against usually insane speed angle everything, my car behaving is becaues he been giving me tips to get better and stuff

but he couldnt shake steph.. so thats just me.

Wow that was somewhat close battle. What I percieve from all this is conspiracy or hatred or anger. It shows us how tight the competition has gotten. I give props to Papadakis. Hes an excellent driver but I really didnt know he can stick with the big guns (see DA). I agree with Alex, the shots from the camera are not what the judges see so therefore you cant really make an opinion on what you dont fully understand or in this case see.

It's a PROFESSIONAL series, therefore factory backed teams are what it should eventually end up with. I'm all for the privateers, and congrats to all of them and what they are able to do with what they are given, but let's face it, this is the big leagues.

Theres has been two drivers that got podium but not even factory backed up team.

wow, i just saw the video, and it certainly looked like chris really had way better angle and earlier drift entry, but i guess the judges saw stuff i didnt, oh well, good video anyway.

Guess what guys its done with. Chris lost. I like chris's style probaly the most next to alex's drunken style but he lost. Steph is driving a s2000 a *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* to get sideways i'm sure thats the most angle he could get i don't know if that thing has a new rack yet or what but most drifting s2k's arn't even s2k's other than the shell and motor.


But yeah chris lost for one reason steph was damn good. Steph is damn good at a lot of things i've seen him do one of the best drag racers and pretty good drifter. Don't all be salty becuase a drager broke into are game that most of you on this site don't even do and beat a senior of the game. I have news for you in racing the rookie can come out of no were and own you. steph probaly is just a good driver in general, props to steph on the runs i saw they were all pretty good and only one correction that i saw.
