Around 500 whp would be a good number. It did 430 whp/410 tq at pretty low boost. More boost, good gas. JE pistons, Carrillo rods, Cometic headgasket should hold it all together for a bit more boost.

Timing it. Service manual. Three timing chains. The chains have marks. The gears have marks. Just a matter of lining them all up, and making sure they stay aligned. The first time takes a minute or two....

Chris is a cool dude, anytime in the pits anyone can just walk up and shoot the breeze with him about anything. He shows off his car, revs the motor a bit all of which the fans like. Give the dude a break, i cant wait too see his new car on the track. In the right car I think he has a chance for the podium, dude has heart.

    Agree!!

What I disagree here in this thread is that some people just sit behind their computer all day and bitxh but probably would not have the balls to say those things and have such attitude in person. Where is respect nowadays? True constructive criticism is good but not in a disrespectful way. Don't say stuff on forums that you otherwise would not say to a person face to face.

Chris's car is awesome. Definitely one of a kind. Really, what's the point of following trend? Not everybody agrees with his attitude. But if you look pass that, Chris is a guy who would come through at the end of the day. He's got a heart for drifting and he tries hard.

    Another in Agreement

Drifting with Chris has been some of the most fun we have had, not to mention the countless hours we have used his shop and parts.

    Remember this Chris.

    Going to have to agree

All I know is that a few years back when I was working for D1 at the California JGTC collaboration, Chris came up to me with his kid and asked me to get him into the press area. At the time I was so by the book that I wasn't letting anyone in, not even Chris and his kid.

Moral of the story is that we recently finished filming on our RB25DVD project for Drifting.com and regardless of that past burn, one of the people who came through for me was Chris. He stayed late to give me time to make it to his shop, climbed up and down through stacks of parts to find a line for me and pulled parts off of one of his project cars just to get me what I needed.

So for any of you who might have developed a negative view of Chris through this flame fest remember that he's a good guy when it comes down to it, a little off, but he does have his moments and he's got heart, and yeah, what 8 year old kid wouldn't want his dad to paint a race car into a ninja turtle...DISCLAIMER: I do not however support nor deny anyone's claims to what he's done to them respectively, I'm only talking of my own experience with him.

And finally, if we're not having fun with what we do, what are we doing here anyways? We clap when we see each other crash, but we'd all be out on the track to help each other out, and from what I sometimes see on here...I'd rather root for the turtle than give props to a c0ck.

Love him or hate him, Chris is a character. He has a ton of heart, and trys hard.

He also does some pretty crazy stuff, but I like that. I have pegged the boost gage a few times to win a race, so I appreicate that angle.

I saw the Z today. Looks interesting, different. The green is Chris's signature color. Its a good color to stand out from other cars, not something you might run on your street car, but this isn't a street car.

Now the orange. I asked Chris about it, and he said that his son asked him to paint some orange on the car. So its orange and green because his 8 year old son asked him to paint some orange on it.

Chris is not much a man for forums. I help him because he is out there. I helped him a little on the RB powered S14, I am going to help him a little on the 350Z.

Mike Peters - you don't like the sound of an inline 6 on the rev limiter ?, although its probably a good thing for Chris that I turned the anti-lag off. It was really loud on the anti-lag. That RB25 sure took some abuse last year. Although he was the perfect pick for the sound of the RB26 powered Mustang in FNF3.
