ya the 13b-rew is quite tempramental and no matter what they will most likely detonate, but so far ive put 60k on mine and i have yet to have one problem. thank you judge ito, pinapple racing and pettit. those 3 guys have made my rotary experience very enjoyable.

I don't see how that's the easiest swap.Imo,in an FD it is not worth it.

Maybe if SP swiitched from a sequential to a single and got a custom hood fabricated,it might be able to have a hood(one hell of a hood scoop)

Wonder how low an RB could sit in there. Both are inline sixes,so it would probably be similiar.

depends on who is working on the car, how they are working on the car, what they are putting on the car, and how lucky you are

I say do the LS1 (from a low mile wrecked Camaro), aftermarket cam, exhaust, and the T56. Or if you go LS6 you should reach your goal (and pay more haha). My friend with a Z06 and boltons put down 383rwhp all motor. And sorry to offend the guy that works for TPIS, but I really would not recommend going with them. I have no direct experience with them, but I know quite a few people from the thirdgen.org community that have had very bad results. One that comes to mind off the top of my head is Jeff's 388 that eventually blew up due to bad tuning (or lack of) on TPIS's part. I would be worried.

I actually thought of the FC motor. But, as time or money permits, I will work on it. My current thing to get going is my Z. The FD can sit there. It's paid for and not costing me anything so it can chill. I have all the parts for my Z so i'm doing it first.

                          Focus on the Z

I would sell the FD and dump money into that 260Z. Drop an RB26DETT into and go have some fun, or for even more fun drop a V-8 in it. LOL

you do not do an engine swap with a 260z...thats like putting a B16 in a mint 68 Camaro....geez, everyone is so engine swap crazy.

yeah i know. so it is a datsun? i dont really know much about the 260Z. my personal favorite is the turbo 280Z (that might be ZX i dont really remember) those things are so stylish stock. i see a old datsun all the time but it is always parked.....that is such a waste.

The v8 is going and the 2.8 is going back in. I've got deep dish Enkie 92's for it and another set of 3 piece Volks.

Oh yea, and ALL that bodywork is steel. No fiberglass on it anywhere. The flares, nose, hood, rear end EVERYTHING. Hand rolled and welded to the body. I been after this car for 2 years.
