So if i buy a FC used what should i look for? i know this guy who bought a rx7, got the leaks fixed, took it for a drive, parked it. Than 5 mins latter a kid ran up to his door telling him is car was on fire. he got it out of the garauge befor it burnt the palce down. but it was a waste of a $800 + $400 fixing it.

LoL damnit nate. Your car frustrates me, I mean I apply so much less effort to get my TII sideways, but yours is just the understeering master 1. the damn excessive negative camber in the rear opposed to the little in the front. 2. The nose light characteristics of the damn thing. 3. The necessity of new suspension components. All just annoying factors....well for drifting. I cant complain though, I love the way my fc handles . Man hurry up and build your 7! and f the 5 fc drifter fantasies LOL....

Every time i look at your car it annoys me ARGH! its a fine lookin fc though

Hey thats a good buy. Like I said you can get a decemt FC for around 4 grand. You could put a used rotary in the for about 1500 and be running with a good car.

Hey Ryan, where in Phoenix do you live? I as well live in Phoenix, but am too young to drive a car. The only time I would ever see you is at the D1 Search in a couple weeks.

yeah that's my old white FC on ebay, and i drift my FC with sr20det, and i may be driving hamptons FC in D1, depending on about 50 different things, but FC's rule, they have soo much speed...

hey Tony, saw your car a while back at a justDRIFT event. very nice. I was very surprised when I saw the SR20 inside, the install was very clean.

FC is deffinately a gr8 drift car. I own an 87 n/a and all I've done to it so far is put on some adjustable struts. At the end of an autocross we did some fun runs, and I went out there (never drifted before) and threw it sideways for about half the course and put the hachis (who were trying to do the same thing) there to shame. It was soooo much fun. And like Ryan says rx7s are dirt cheap because people are put off by rotarys. Just take good care of the engine and it will last you a long time.

oh yeah i can never remember to ask this.
i found two FCs within a 20 mile radius of me. both are N/A and one is at a dealership. the one at the dealer was supposedly owned by the same owner for 9 years. it is 2,500

the other got a new engine 15,000 miles ago but its 2,800.
                                any input would help.
