Gentlemen, feel free to express your opinion freely but do try to be respectful and i ask that you keep in mind Mister Rado has taken alot of OUR advice and put our little community in a big website, referring to several of us directly. Hes doing what we ask, so hes called a "flip flopper?" a rediculous term. This isnt cross fire or something where we try to come up with silly phrases that we hammer into the ground.

A guy has erred and has tried to correct it, let us be gentlemen about it.

In my book anyways that counts for something. Now we must see if his actions follow suit.

Hey Rado, if you really want the respect and for people to stop dissing you, and since you want to drift. You should get a supra or something, but try and get a smaller weaker motor for it like a 3sge(non turbo) with only like 220 hp. Then your supra would be way lighter and beter balanced. Remember drifting is not about power, its about balance and skill. But if you could keep up with good drivers in such a weak car you would get plenty of respect from people because it takes alot of skill to keep up with the powerful cars. If you showd skill like that then you would get alot of respect.

Yeah i did, but i was just using the supra with a 3sge motor as an example. I didnt mean he should really do it. I meant that he should get a weak car (or truck) that is well balanced and light. That way if he was to beat powerful car drivers he would get more respect since he had a weeker car that kept up with the powerful cars. Sorry, i should have made my first statement a little more clear.

Maybe you read to about page 2, but he mentions that he's going to be using the the Toyota Tacoma X-Treme or something like that.

hahah, 220hp is no where near enough power to drift a supra no matter the weight reduction from the 3sgte...

What are you new. Mustangs weigh just as much as supras(if not then more ) and some come with 4 cylinders. And did you forget that by placing the new motor in the supra thats(dont forget the 3sge is non turbocharged) droping like 200 punds all in itself, plus all weight reduction done to the car. You could easily drop 100 more pounds, just by getting a c/f hood and fenders. That seems like a pretty light car to me. Also gut out the interior thats like another 100 pounds. You are looking at a supra that weighs like 28-2900 pounds. You could probably drop more weight too.

ok THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR SAYING...
take a supra and remove the motor(arguably its best feature, but well continue) then strip it, and use carbon fiber body panels. news flash, reducing weight isnt that easy, and for the price of the carbon fiber your better of building that motor for the power.
220hp is not enough to be competitive, competition corollas weigh in the low 2000s and have around 200 hp, alot of silvias or 240s make around 375, or at least 300. i can go on...
if rado tried to drift your supra hed look like a tard, perhaps thats what you want.

Yeah you ARE new. Drifting isnt all about power. Its about balance and skill. A supra with that kinda motor would have a great balance, and if it was used properly you could easily run with the best. It almost like driving a stock gts. Again it would take skill to win and if rado had that skill he would get respect. Of course you havent listend to one word. Oh and also a t50 tranny with new gears would drop alot of weight too.
