  • Installed the Coilovers!

Best choice to spend your extra cash = coilovers

Already drifted with them, and took half an hour to get used to the well balanced car.

Nice but the angle makes your rear look a lot higher than your front. Or could be your front lip.

Nah, it's clear that it's lower in the front.

I assume he either hasn't dialed in the height yet, or he has the front set lower in order to increase front downforce (the increased downward slope will help do that, I think).

Hope you don't bust your front lip pulling into a driveway

If anything downforce would be from a reduced gap between the road and his front lip. Less air flowing under the car would create a low pressure area, the high pressure flowing over the car would in turn create downforce (this is how an air dam works).

...You sure? I'm pretty sure less air flowing under the car reduces lift, which is what front lips are for.

Either way, I don't think it would increase, at least...

                  Doh.

Ok... but why would lowing the gap increase lift?

Oh wait. You didn't say that.

                  My bad.

But that's what I meant (because of the gap as well), but I thought you were saying I was wrong since I didn't pay attention.

The more air goes over the car rather than under, the more it pushes it to the ground.
