Wel.. First of all, you cant drift the VAG's any good.. (not saying that it's imposiboule! )

But anyways.. Just thought I'd throw up a pic of my German Panzerwagen! :P

..No real drifter thet either, but I'd bet it's easyer to drift than any VAG car

Nice Calibra, I've always liked the opels. If I had any car imported it'd either be a Astra or a Calibra.

I think that European cars aren't bigger because they're usually out of the price range for a lot of kids. Although older models are not as expensive, they're older and you know how that goes...

Sin-R that makes me want to get a Merc Sedan SOOOO bad!

I'd also love to get ahold of:
                    Audi Quattro Coupe
                    ANY TVR
                    MGA/MGB
                    Vaux Hall Chevette
                    Older M3 or 318ti
                    Opel Calibra
                    VW Corrado
                    Porsche 914 !
                    Cosworth Escort
                    ...and the lost goes on....

                    If I only had $50,000....

Out of the price range i would say there probably heavier, well the more luxury laden models.

But remember there are alot of drift cars out there. even if lets say 70 percent of drifters are running S13s/86s/FCs then that means the other 30 percent is pread over god only knows how many models. But drifting is becomming more popular and guys are trying new stuff all the time so i would expect to see more euro cars in the future.

yea but they are expensive because you get what you pay for.
                        reliability
                        power
                        comfort
                        etc....

We know that, but a lot of people don't...

At the Tampa DGtrials event, there were all AEs and 240's except for one S2K, one Noble M12, two Miatas, and one M3 Sedan from Makes+Models which just sat around - that was out of 30 cars. In Miami, there was one BMW, one S2K, one AE, and the rest were 240's out of 15 or so cars.

I certianly hope that Euro cars will become more popular, since the majority of the 240s have been swallowed up by drifters and the ones that haven't been may soon be. It would take the burden off of the 240 owners in terms of who the police profile as trouble-makers.

I'm sure everyone has seen the SC300s, IS300s, MA70-gen Supras, Skylines, and such from Japan. Increased weight isn't really a problem as long as it's decently distributed. It's really all about getting used to the car in question.

Keep in mind that this is a 1985 model, so it's a little bit worn out!

Almoste forgot something! My 1985 also got disc braks all-around, and ABS! Not bad for a 19-year-old car, huh
