              Its not to difficult, i picked it up in about 2 hours when i started learning.

              The important thing is just to get in there and practice.

                          i started with an auto ! deffenately drift able.. not just using the handbrake either.

                              um..its really depends..I never drifted in an auto, but I believe you need to pick up speed to throw you booty out and keep that momentum going.

                                You dont really need anything different then you do with a manual. You wil need more power if you want to perform power manuvers, but i really dont consider flooring it to break traction a very advanced technique. I realied mainly on highspeed weight transfer and the handbrake when i was new.
