talking about alignment reminded me about something else, any chance of battle version camber arms for the Z?

I'm working on the Z arms. I should have the rear ones shortly, ie lower camber, forward traction, and the toe link for rear coil overs. (made a prototype set for Brian's car)

The front is going to be a bit harder, I'm currently looking to find the best design rather then just slaping something together like the rest of the companies that already make those arms.

is the toe link whats required if you want to ditch the helper spring for a true coilover in the rear?

yeah, cusco just came out with a front set, they are affordable but pretty limited for adjustability. if you need a z and brians busy let me know, i want these to come out.

The next thing goes on, so funny cause there was no mic, the bartender would just yell out for the next girl. The aveage weight of these things was about 200lbs. So now we have to see what the "hottie" looked like. Getting kinda scary as a couple of them start comeing over to try and talk to us. One chick asks me,

Her: Wears yoall from?
Me: chicago
Her: what part?
Me: West side
Her What part of the west side?
Me: (out of excuses but luckly her name was called to go on stage)
Her: You got a dollar?

She gets a dollar from one of the guys, and as she walks away says, "you better come up with some better lies", then we figure out that she needed that dollar to put in the gute box so she had a song to dance to. We got a real kick out of that one.

Anyway the hottie goes on, she is like 40 years old and looks like a crack whore with sagging fake titties. We had enough and pounded our drinks and headed over to the casino.

alex, i am curious... at the joliet event, you seemed to have some trouble getting the tail of the golf cart to slide... what was going wrong there??
any chance ya might build a drifting golf cart just to go out and give the crowd a laugh? i would love to see smoke rollin off the tires of a golf cart as it slides sideways

in central illinois, there arent really any drifters at all... there are a couple guys i know that went out and tried drifting and ended up eating curbs, now they think drifting is stupid.. they were actually in the car show.. right next to eachother, the white s13 with silvia conversion and black steelies, and the orangish s2000 with ssr wheels and supercharger

If you had to choose a differential, kaaz or nismo for an s14 which one would you choose. I know you dont own an s14 but if you have any opinions that would be great.
Also I am going to buy front tension rods and probably a rear upper from you when I get my kei office coilovers on the next month or so and was wondering if I come to you if you can do my alignment and help me with my setup?

The stock spring rests on top of the stock rear toe link for the 350z. What we noticed with chris's and bryan's car is that after we changed the camber link and got it to the right camber settings, the toe link was too short to get the proper alignment settings. So lucky they already changed their rear to a full coil over that rides on top of the shock. This way we could change that toe link out for an adjustable one and get the right settings we needed. Its kinda like the same thing with the 240's, if you change just the camber link and you car is lowered to the point you have to make the link a bit longer, you run out of adjustment on the toe link as well. So its best to just replace all the links at once, then you dont run into adjustment or alignment problems and you get the tightest feel.

Yes, I have a set of scales at G-Demensions that i use when i do alignments. I'm probably not going to have those UCA's any time too soon so get those cusco ones. $370 seems like a good price to me.

Sorry dude but you recently bought one of the worse cars to ever own, if you think its cool, thats fine but i personally hate that car along with 944s, 928s, MR2's, boxsters, 75-79 camero's, 79-86 blazers, SVO's, and some others i cant come up with at the top of my head. 924's should have been in a trash heap and recycled by now.

They both work well, just the kaaz is a bit loud sometimes. I dont personally favor one or the other.

woot! i got VWs leftovers. well we all have different tastes but yeah i do like my car. might be as problematic as a DSM right now. but it will all be worth it in the spring. it might not be able to go sideways but i worked for this car for the last 3 or 4 years. might have only costed 1,000 but im glad i got it.
