yeah it was a pointless post...but so what, look how many were interested. It's cool to talk about the car or any car that is. The 300zx is the only diFF that will go in a 280z? Won't a CAZ fit? you would think if they went in NISSAN's they would work, even though it is an old car. keep it goin, who ever complains about pointless stuff can go eat a DIK!!!!!!

Ouch. Let's not hate the Z drivers, please. We seem to be quite a minority group on this site. It's funny how Z drivers seem so close knit though, hehe...
hey dudes, as of this thrusday i will be a Z driver too! yep, the proud owner of a 240Z... i was just wondring, does anybody know what offset 16x7 inch wheels need to be to fill up fiberglass bolt on 432R style fenders?
If you had a nice 240Z, what form of engine would you put in it? Stock form, carburated with triple webber's or a turbocharged 280ZX engine? Other forms are allowed, don't worry, just curious as to what you guys might do to that Datsun engine bay.
I like the tried and true 2.8 that comes in the 280. Good engine. One with a Turbo is nice as well. Either way is good. Triple webers are nice but god are they high and hard to keep synced. Mikunis are a little better.
i like the 2.8 with the su carbs hahah its so simple..but if i could put any motor i wanted in my Z i think it would have to be an rb26 or a supercharged lt1
One of my staff runs a Z30 with a l motor. Its set up for drag and Its all motor. This car is street driven every day but still pulls 11 sec quarters every time. Ill get some pics up.
