umm, sorry but thats no way a mazda designers rendering fo a rx-7. more like the mag hired some guy to do a quick mock up. plus it looks half assed too. black and white... c'mon. nothing credible about it. i can pull better stuff with my left thumb only. the miata that was caught undergoin test sessions with the rx8 nose was just a disguise, many car makers do that all the time to get by unnoticed by car maniacs such as ourselves (seen the next ferrari "456" camoflauged as a 612 scalietti? )
reason why there isnt no more 6 cyclinder turbo cars is because of new japanese emission laws. the 4 bangers might get away with it but its harder for an inline 6 twin turbo and god knows how polluntant the "276"hp 13b is. and no one has seen pics of a next "supra," those are all "educated guesses". trust me, im going to art center for this stuff. easy to do.
what i do hear is that rx-7 project is given the green light. nsx project canned, but i do suspect it to be revived (how can 3 time f1 world champion honda not have a halo car =P). gtr project on hiatus until they make more profitbale cars (still billions in debt from the 90s, hence renault take over). also hear rumors of datsun nameplate revival along with an entry level rwd sport compact. think silvia but not s-chassis unfortunately. next miata will indeed ride on rx8 chassis, givng room for even a rotary swap, but will indeed use a inline 4, prob around 2 or 2.2 liters. laso must agree with the strong rumors of a toyta sports car. like what NextBoost said, i do think toyota will ake a sports car to go against the z, prob carrying the name supra. and another high end halo car to go against the nsx and the next gtr. also hearing the name "5000gt" but we all will know for sure in due time.
i do believe that compact v6s is the new trend in japanese sports cars, or compact light weight engines mounted behind the front axle. maybe a rear transaxle will work its way into them too. they seem to be more focused on car balance and handling rather than engine size, excessive power and techonlogical advances. i definately dont want another wave of overpriced japanese sports being killed in the us again (supra, 300zx, rx-7, 3000gt, all victims of the 90s) i do must admit that a well handlin car is more desirable these days. look at the 350z or s2000, perfect example of where the trend is heading. tho i think the next gtr, nsx and "supra" will be in much higher class of their own. carlos ghosn, nissan president, alreayd stated the next porsche 991 turbo will be its benchmark. cant wait til 2007 =)
^Desu yo ne...(Well said...) Turbos aren't dead yet. Subaru seems to have a strong hold on them, even if they are 4wd. They even have Turbo H6s now. And Mitsubishi, they're just following Subaru after the success of the WRX. I hate EVOs(sorry to anyone that does). Well most of those are 4 cylinder turbos, not the 6. Except, for the Legacy and Forester. Sadly, Mitsu and Subaru are now currently the top players with turbo(not that they're bad...). We need more companies keeping them...
i dont really like the new mazda styling. too crazy. "I hate EVOs" so do i because mitsubishi supposedly voids your warranty if you do anything like autoX. i cant imagine a "enthusiast" model car being frowned upon if you drive it a little vigorously. oh they are still making supras and RX7s right? in other countries of course but none the less.
Originally posted by Velvet Not anymore, they gone bye bye. Last seven was the Spirit R in 2002 and I'm not sure when they stopped the Supra.
Supra stopped the same year......did they ever make a limit edition Supra like the Spirit R?.......mmmmmm......Spirit R......o and i hope that isn't the new Rx7.....anyways if the new Rx7 does come out and looks bad........i'm swapping the engine to the fd,if the engine is super tight you know what i mean

I dunno much about Supras to know if they made a limited edition model. I agree with the mmmmm.....Spirit R. Even if they do make a new RX-7 I'd still opt for a good ol'FD. I hope the next seven engine is something that far exceeds all previous Rotary engines and if this happens I'm gonna buy a FD shell and swapping. But uggggggg, INSURANCE, OVERPRICING, PARKING (NY has terrible parking), EPA, CARB, MAINTAINING THE FD, ETC...its all messing up my dream.

They only void your warranty if you have mods during your warranty(LIKE ANY OTHER CAR COMPANY). And they don't know if you been doing Autox, racing or whatever brings that needle to the redline. And no they're not searching on the net for "racing evos". People redline evos right away when they first get it. You're suppose to break it in first you dumbasses(if you knew about cars, you would do that). 30,000 miles...Don't like it? Go buy groceries one by one at a store real far away. They get very arrogant. 'Jack up the car in the first months. And they think they own. I had a couple bad experiences with them. An EVO is a great car, but I hate the drivers like this one...
please do not insult what little intelligence i have.

of course you have to drive a brand new car like a normal person.
sadly i need to reformat my computer because of some stupid spyware i cant seem to find but i could not look at the website. please explain the basics of what was there.
