Go with the MX83 model (from 89-92 i think)
Putting a Turbo onto the atmo 7M is a big task, and you wont end up with a great engine. i dont know what prices are like where you are, but as always, if there is a turbo version of your engine... use it. (you never know, an engine swap might be cheaper than the final cost of a turbo install)
dont underestimate the 7MGTE though, yes it has serious problems with head gaskets (due to improper fitting at the factory i believe) they are very good engines.
my new MZ20 soarer has a bigger turbo and larger injectors on mild boost and is making 218kw, All with standard internals... as soon as i get the new clutch in, tune it properly and bump up the boost a bit i expect it to hit the high 200's easily.
i have done the swap 3 times. here is roughly what was used each time.

so far all cars have run beautifully, with only problems coming from the POWER FC computer in the swap with the MARK 2 driveline (the mark 2 transmission is electronically controlled, so you need a special version of the power fc to get both the engine and trans working properly).
