          IM SOO GEEKED!!

I started my new classes a few days ago, one of them is auto. Today we were testing O2 sensors...and i stumbled upon a 4-AGE from a Geo, sitting there... It's being used for Engine rebuilding...But from what i could gather...I might get that for free...or cheap...if i do HELL YEA!! but...we'll see..

I havent posted because I havent done anything. The project is on hold... its -7 outside...even with the heater its too cold to work on the car. Plus I have no money. Supposedly the motor i thought was a 4-AGE is a 4-AFE...which is another SOHC POS! But that might just find its way into my car. I'm kinda thinking Keep the EFI and Go with a small turbo with custom piping and what not. Get it pushing somthing like 130-160HP... thats what I want. For sure Coilover converison of the front strut. Tokico HTS and TRD race springs in the rear. This is all in the future...Then prolly a New Car.. S13...Theres a guy at my school with one.. He said he'd sell it for 3k but I'll bargin him to about 2500...

                DAY whatever...

Finally I had enough freetime (girlfriend at church, and the weather was warm enough 32f)

Welps I got it started and moved it, That was a project in itself. I looked back at my old posts...boy did I learn alot since I bought this car.

Anywayz. I started filling the dents on the tunk and start pounding down the hood.

Hm, I know what you mean old, rusted, beated cars that cost nothing (at start!) are good teachers I did learn some stuff on carburators, exhaust and general car functionning with my tercel and since I'm gonna try to put an engine in it by myself (and maybe repair the floor a little bit) to sell it I'll learn more. After that it'll be time to let my 323 teach me!

That should interest you if you did'nt see it, I took it from club4ag http://www.jzx81.net/ae95.html

good luck with the corolla man, I wish i woulda taken pictures of my Ps13 before i brought it back to stock and then started the modifications again. i bought it from a friends older brother when i was 14 and it took me a year and a half to redo all of his mistakes. but i got the car for $800 dollars and he got rid of what he thought was a turd. it was after he was done with it, but he was back for college before i took off for school and he was pissed when he saw that I had made it run better than he did.

the car was a tragedy when he had it, rediculous body kit with a wing litterally two feet off the deck and about six inches out from either side. it was painted some ugly green color with purple and orange accents. the car screamed rice and after he blew the motor i had a lot of work ahead of me, I also had a lot of sheet metal to replace from the Minnesota Rust... i've sank a lot of money into that car and had to leave it in MN while im out at school, but when i get back its gonna pwn, i have some more suspension work to do, and mostly body work, to make it look nice... ive only done what was needed to make it look drivable. i want to get a kit now.

Well today I had some time so I grinded all the small rust spots on the rear quaterpanel. I also finished in the door jamb and cleaned it off again... I put the deck lid back on... and came to the conculsion it will never ever fit correctly again. The more time invested in this project the more I realize that its not worth it... I'm just gonna get it painted looking driveable and drift it untill it passes on...then I'm thinking a 240sx or FB...Maybe even a Civc to learn Grip driving on.

Today I jacked the car onto some jack stands and removed the rear wheels to try to figure out why the brakes are soo soft. You can see that the Shoes are still new and nice looking. I will post some pics tomarrow. I'll jack the front up tomarrow because my floor jack is a pretty small. I'm thinking about cutting the springs but im not sure. I'm tryin to decied if the car is worth completely restoring which I dont think it is.

Anyone have any idea why the brakes are soo soft. I also broke the ebrake today.... Trying to get it locked so I could see if it moved the brakes any. The Last owner Replaced the Pads and Shoes before he sold it. I'm going to bleed the lines tomarrow. and check the front. It mainly seems like brakes only in the front and none in the back.

Good day! Today I got, My Floor Jack, My Engine Stand, My Dads Welder and Millwakkee Grinder. Things will go much faster now.

I replaced the Wheels and moved the car. Which kept locking the rear brakes up for some reason I'm going to inspect it once I get it jacked up again. I cleaned the shop and Will take pics tomarrow of the underbody and what ever else.
