After a little confusion with my girlfriend, I discover that mazdachick7 happens to be her, playing a joke on me...

. It takes place of the upper strut mount and has the four threaded bolts that connect to the chassis, but it seems to only work if I remove the upper spring seat (which makes no sense at all). The top of the strut (where the single nut that holds it all together goes) doesn't even reach far enough to come through the camber plate. I'm very upset to find that it's not going on. Any help is greatly appreciated. Mazdatrix advised that it possibly could be that I have to buy a lowered spring seat and that it works with different springs.
