jus wanna say real quick, when I picked up my first '87 FC, it was doing the same thing, the whole gas smell an no starting. the only thing I did was put new plugs in and first try it fired up... hella smoke too!!

Yeah yeah... I wanna hear more about people with carbs too... not as common as turbos but I know you people are out there. post dammit!!

yeah smoke all the time. especially in cold starts and after unflooding! *cough *cough!*

tried it.... didnt work.... It feels like its tryin to catch sometimes, but never quite does. I took out the plugs and cranked it for a while, tried cranking it for a bit with the fuel pump off, nothing. There is power goin to the plugs anyway, shocked the hell outta me when i was under the hood and my gf cranked it. And it really smells like gas after tryin to start it. Grrrr, i wish i knew more about the small things on my FC.

How Do I install Knight Sports Camber Plates?

I purchased some front camber plates for my RX on e-bay for a good price. I like them a lot 'cause they have 3 screws on them to adjust which seems more sturdier than the other ones I've seen with only 2.

Anyway, I took my shock/spring assembly out and was getting ready to install the plate when I noticed that the upper spring mount is way too tall to allow the camber plate to go on . It takes place of the upper strut mount and has the four threaded bolts that connect to the chassis, but it seems to only work if I remove the upper spring seat (which makes no sense at all). The top of the strut (where the single nut that holds it all together goes) doesn't even reach far enough to come through the camber plate. I'm very upset to find that it's not going on. Any help is greatly appreciated. Mazdatrix advised that it possibly could be that I have to buy a lowered spring seat and that it works with different springs.

Any help would be appreciated...

I was thinking of getting JIC FTLA inverted monotube. But the whole kit is $1650.00 Got quoted on it.
But Ill see my other options.

Now lets move to Ignition systems.

HKS Twin Rotary ignition system. Very expensive ($540.00) any other product out there to amplify the sparks?

have you checked out the new Tein sideways master Drift spec coilovers,they only make them for i beleive the FC's an S13's...im getting them for my FC as soon as i get $1,300

oh, and when my car doesnt start i know immediatly its flooded,i pop the hood take out the EGI fuse (big green fuse) without the fuse the fuel pump doesnt work,i get back in and crank it off and on for about 2 minutes or so...then i walk back plug the fuse back in a start my car ...it ever failed for me...like when i first bought the car,i went to test drive it,it wouldnt start the guy i bought it from was like,this always happens and i dont know how to fix it!...i was like no problem,did my little procedure and BAM! it started up and ran nice and smooth.the guy was shocked,plus he was asking 1500 for the car,i got it for $400 ... i'd show some pics but i dont know how to post them
