Speaking of flexy convertible FC's, I have one of those, but right now its got stock suspension setup, and i dont really have the money to upgrade that too much. Should I be too worried about chassis flex as is? Also, is there anything to keep in mind when trying to drift about the stock suspension? I read the thread on Rear-steer, but is there anything else? Thanks

chassy flex is allways a problem but it really shows afteryou start to mod the suspenson...what it does is eats up the fine adjusments madeto your suspension and alighnemnt..

if you on low buck mode...just get somecheep springs and shocks and hit up the junk yard for a series 4 LSD...out of a GXL...cheep mods and really worth your while!

Thanks for the advice... I have another question. Does anyone know where i can find a wiring schematic for the radio and speakers of an 88 convertible? I have the AM/FM, cassette and CD stock head-unit, and there are two speakers under the dash, two in the doors, and then the headrest speakers. The previous owner cut all the wires apart, and hooked up an aftermarket system, and when he sold the car, he just tore out all the stuff he had, so now nothing is connected. So does anyone know where I can find one of these? Thanks!

that sounds like a good price for the lsd and shiznik
also i will soon rebuild my 13bt(i got 2 s4 and a s5 13bt)both of them being rebuilt.. but using the s5 motor in my 1990.should be ported but still in the processing of figuring out which one..
Max Street Port or just a Mild Port..well see ..

The wiring schematic has been a great help, just need to figure out what the psycho-wire-cutter did with the door-speaker wires (yea, i know, i dont work on it very often, but only have access to it about 3-4 days a month average, and thats not really enough time to get anything serious done, especially since most of that time im studying for college) I was also wondering if a high idle was normal on start-up? It hangs at about 1500-2000 RPM for about 5-10 min, and then drops down to sub-1000 levels (~800) is this normal?
